- Newborn sessions are best booked during pregnancy, ideally in your second or early third trimester. I only accept a limited number of newborn due dates each month to ensure every family receives a relaxed unhurried experience. Once baby arrives, we will schedule your session based on your actual delivery date. If you're currently expecting, I recommend reserving your due date as early as possible to guarantee availability.
- The ideal time to photograph your baby is between 5-14 days old. During this stage, babies are sleepier, naturally curled, and easier to gently pose. This allows for those soft, cozy, womb-like poses seen in classic newborn portraits. If your baby is older than 2 weeks, please still reach out. I will always do my best to accommodate and adjust the session style as needed.
- Every newborn session in my Houma studio is designed to be stress-free and fully styled. Your session includes:

- My studio is located in Houma, Louisiana, and serves families from surrounding areas. The space is designed to be calm and quiet, warm and comfortable for newborns, & clean and safe. Parents are encouraged to relax while I guide the entire session.
- Your baby's safety is my top priority. I take a gentle, baby-led approach to every session. I allow time for feeding breaks, soothing, and comfortable transitions between poses. I never force a pose and always follow your baby's cues. With patience and care, I create a safe environment where your baby can be photographed naturally and comfortably.
- What if my baby arrives early or late?
- That's completely okay! Your session is reserved based on your due date, and we adjust once baby arrives.
- What should we bring?
- Just your baby and feeding essentials. I provide wraps, props, and outfits.
- Can parents and sibling be included?
- Yes! Family images are included in select packages and are always encouraged.
- What if my baby is fussy?
- That's completely normal. Sessions are designed with plenty of time for feeding and soothing, so there is no pressure.
- How long does a session take?
- Newborn sessions typically last 2-3 hours to allow for a calm and relaxed experience.
